We are beyond excited to share that High Schoolers for Front Liners (HSFL) has been featured in the Montgomery County Volunteer Center’s (MCVC) February 2025 newsletter! A huge thank you to Ms. Erica Joo for spotlighting our mission and the incredible work of our volunteers. We first received a message from Ms. Joo inquiring about our organization!

“Your organization is amazing!”

Erica Joo, MCVC Newsletter Writer and Editor

As the newsletter highlights, HSFL is “an inspiring initiative led by the energetic and compassionate teens” who dedicate their time to creating heart pillows, letters, masks, and blankets for hospitals, veterans, and those in need. Most recently, our Heart Pillows project has brought comfort to veterans at the Baltimore VA Medical Center, offering both physical relief and emotional support.

We are incredibly proud of our volunteers, whose dedication makes all of this possible. Moving forward, we hope to expand our outreach and connect with even more hospitals in the DMV area and beyond.

Thank you to everyone who has supported HSFL—this recognition belongs to all of you!
