On Veterans Day, HSFL is proud to continue one of our most meaningful traditions: writing and delivering heartfelt letters of appreciation to the veterans in our community.

Freedom, safety, and the everyday life we often take for granted were made possible by the sacrifice, courage, and service of countless veterans.

Over the past month, HSFL members have been hand-writing personal letters to veterans, expressing thanks, sharing encouragement, and reminding them that their service is never forgotten. Each letter is written with intention as a personal message of respect from one generation to another.

This year, our Veterans Day project is a promise to remember their sacrifice, to honor their stories, and to pass forward the spirit of service through our own actions.

We are also deeply grateful to our volunteers, who took the time to pause during busy school days, sit down with a pen, and write words that matter. Your effort is another form of service that builds connection, empathy, and community.

To every veteran: Thank you. We are able to live, learn, dream, and serve because you did first.

HSFL will continue building bridges between youth and those who have served, not just on Veterans Day, but all year long.
