Hi everyone!
Today we held a zoom meeting going over some new updates. Thank you to everyone who attended, and here’s a recap if you missed it.

  • We are running out of fabric for mask making and funds to buy materials. A special thank you to Michelle, HyunJune, and Xander’s parents for their support this month: altogether they raised over 600 dollars! This will help us for the coming few months, but masks are still expensive. Please help us out by donating – reach out to us if you would like to.
    • If that’s not possible if you could collect unused blankets, clean bed cloths, and table cloths to donate, that would also be great! You can either bring them to Allison’s house so she can send the fabric back out for people to cut them OR feel free to cut the fabric and use it yourself.
  • These last few weeks, we have been talking about putting up a Memorial Site for those who have passed away due to COVID.
    • Maintenance for this site will be costly, and to cover the funds, we will launch a Kickstarter this Sunday. Please help us spread the word about it!
    • We still haven’t decided on a name for the site. We invite you to help us come up with a name. It should be short and still capture the message. Examples for what isn’t appropriate: Covid-19deaths.com would be too sad, and Covid-19.com is too general and is probably a taken domain. If everyone could send in 3-5 name ideas, that would help out a lot!
  • Here is an update on our donations for this month!
    • On February 19th, we sent 343 masks to the Anne Arundel Detention Center and 300 to the Doctor’s Community Hospital.
As always, thank you for all your help! We always appreciate everything that you do to help us keep our organization alive and running! See you at the next Zoom meeting on March 8th!
