20,000 masks! Thank you all for this incredible journey – we are excited to celebrate this amazing moment.
Within the past few months, HSFL has finally reached yet another milestone! I truly want to thank each and every single one of our volunteers for their dedication, participation, and involvement.
To celebrate, we are planning to have a 20K celebration where we will be inviting all members of HSFL to a party! On June 19th, from 6-8 PM we will be hosting a party to celebrate our incredible success over the past year. There will also be hot dogs, hamburgers, and cookies to celebrate, and we will be taking many group pictures for our website.
At our 20K Celebration, we will also be selling our HSFL T-shirts for 10 dollars each – these t-shirts go directly into supporting HSFL monthly fabric, elastic, and jersey cotton purchases in order to supply volunteers with material. For all those willing to help our organization out, thank you so much!
For volunteers, there will be several in person activities to participate in. We will be stuffing heart pillows with fiber, packaging masks together for the mont
h’s donation, folding donation boxes, and tracing heart pillows! This will be one of our very first in-person volunteer activities as more restrictions have opened up and students can take off their masks outdoors. For middle school students in particular, we highly recommend coming to meet new volunteers and members of the community inspired to take action!
Again, thank you all for joining us in reaching this wonderful milestone. We are so excited to continue to branch out and make an impact on the frontliners of our community.
