As the founder of HSFL, my journey with this incredible organization has been nothing short of transformative. From its humble beginnings in 2020 during the pandemic, where I dedicated my high school years to its growth, HSFL has evolved into a force for good in our community. Now, as I embark on a new chapter of my life at Princeton University, my role within HSFL has shifted from president to administrator. Today, I want to share my excitement about this transition and the new direction we are taking.

First and foremost, I want to acknowledge the outstanding work of Austin Moon, our current President. Austin has displayed remarkable leadership skills, steering the team towards impactful fundraising efforts. His dedicated focus on raising funds for Syria and Turkey after the devastating earthquake has made a significant difference in the lives of those affected. Austin’s contributions have been invaluable, and I have full confidence in his ability to lead the team toward even greater achievements.
As the administrator of HSFL, my primary goal is to guide the organization in a new direction that aligns with our core values and expands our reach. One of the exciting ventures I have embarked upon is the expansion of HSFL to other school districts. I firmly believe in the power of youth leadership and the importance of providing opportunities for younger high school students to take charge and create meaningful change. By branching out to new school districts, we can offer more young individuals the chance to make a difference and grow their own initiatives.
To turn this vision into reality, I have taken the initiative to write my very first grant proposal. This grant will enable us to establish partnerships with other school districts, empowering students with the resources and support needed to develop their own community-driven projects. The prospect of nurturing and fostering the next generation of leaders within HSFL fills me with great excitement and anticipation. It is a full-circle moment for me, returning to HSFL in a new capacity and embarking on this inspiring endeavor.
I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to continue my involvement with HSFL while pursuing my studies at Princeton University. The experiences and lessons I gained during my time as the president have shaped me into the person I am today, and I am eager to contribute in a different capacity. The dedication and passion of the HSFL team, along with the unwavering support of our volunteers and partners, continue to fuel our drive to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
As we move forward, I am confident that HSFL will continue to thrive and touch the lives of countless individuals. The spirit of community, empathy, and collaboration that defines HSFL will guide us as we explore new avenues or growth.
