The past two years of constant donations, volunteer work, and growth have been astounding.
HSFL has grown from 8 members to over 750 volunteers, has had the opportunity to collaborate with non-profit organizations, raise over 12,000 dollars and so much more.
We are so excited to announce that we have recently surpassed 40,000 items donated!
This number is not only a reflection of the frontline workers, cancer patients, veterans, and more that we have been able to support. It is a reflection of the real-life change the students can make to their community. We might be students but we have the ability to make a change and that makes me so proud. The volunteers that have continually supported our group and worked tirelessly to create their masks or cut items are all an integral part of our journey.
Watching students being able to find their position within our team is also inspiring to watch. Because of the structure of our non-profit is based around the student’s wants, allowing them to find what they enjoy doing makes me unbelievably honored to be a part of this organization. They are individually taking the initiative to support their community and make honest, tangible change.
The journey is yet to be over and I am so excited to see what’s to come.
