Hi everyone! Today we held a zoom meeting going over some new updates. Thank you to everyone who attended, and here’s a recap if you missed it.
- The last recap, we had announced that the Kickstarter would be up and running that Sunday. However, due to bank account issues (a new one had to be opened and re-approved by the Kickstarter company), it was delayed.
- Now that everything is set up, our Kickstarter to cover maintenance fees for the Memorial Site will be launched this Sunday.
- Please help us spread the word about this Kickstarter campaign!
- Next, we apologize for any delays in responding to texts or emails. Allison cannot always check her texts/emails constantly because of school, so if you need additional supplies, please email at least 1 week or a few days beforehand so that when you come to pick things up, the package contains everything you need!
- If Allison doesn’t respond, and you are only there to drop off material, you can drop it off on the front porch or in the garage if it is open.
- The last recap, we thanked a special few people for donations: Michelle + Ryan, Hyun June + Kyle, Xander + Luke, and Andrew + Andrea’s parents. We would like to add a couple more people – Sarah Y. and Chloe R. – thank you for donating $100 and $300 respectively!
- In addition, thank you to Therese K. for donating $100 and Hannah + Eon K. for $50 and new fabric.
- We truly appreciate all our donors, all these funds are going directly to giving back to our community through masks and more! Thank you for championing our cause!
- Here’s an update on our donations for this month!
- On February 24th, we sent 266 masks to Montgomery County Detention Center and 320 to Howard University Hospital.
That’s it for the recap! Thank you to each and every one of you, volunteers and parents, for all that you do!
